After completing her Juris Doctorate with Honors at the Rutgers University School of Law, Diana L. Liberto clerked for a United States District Court Judge and then worked with a law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ms. Liberto went on to join the office of the General Counsel of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., serving in various capacities from 2004 until 2015, including an interim assignment in India.
In 2015, Ms. Liberto created WalkMyMind to engage the mind with exclusive “walkcasts,” audiobooks, and live guest speakers. She partnered with GlobalFit to expand the reach of this technology-driven company that delivers a holistic approach to wellness by connecting the dots of physical, mental, and emotional health. In October 2015, Ms. Liberto became the Chief Executive Officer of WalkMyMind, Inc.
In addition to her role as Chairman of the Board for WMM Holding Co., LLC, Ms. Liberto serves on the Board of Directors of Cohen & Co., Inc. (NYSE – COHN) where she is Chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and a member of both the Audit and Compensation committees. She is also on the Advisory Board of J3Personica, a medical education selection and assessment startup.
Ms. Liberto’s incredible accomplishments, relentless perseverance, and dynamic vision continue to be a source of inspiration. From farmer’s daughter to in-house counsel at a Fortune 100 company to CEO, Diana Liberto has found great success walking an unconventional path.
