Your willingness to question the status quo and the standard way of being is inspiring.

We all have a story. We all have an inner dialogue that chatters on in our minds all day long. This inner dialogue, the conversations we have with ourselves, determines our experience. Our minds are either our allies or our adversaries – it is completely up to us.

From an early age I learned the value and skill of harnessing the power of my mind to cultivate an edge and reach a high level of performance and achieve my goals. My natural inclination and drive to ‘succeed’, pursue excellence at any cost and ‘win’ was undeniable.  While this ability served as an invaluable asset as a student and competitive collegiate athlete, I was unaware of the mental and physiological toll the self imposed stress and pressure was taking. I hustled and worked, through injury, fatigue and illness, priding myself on ‘having ice water in my veins’ to be the first, the best, the most… fill in the blank. I believed that the only way to be successful was to be the most stressed out and overworked person I knew – and even then, it wasn’t enough.

Thankfully, this burn and churn lifestyle left me facedown in central park – physically exhausted and depleted – mentally and emotionally bankrupts and ready to reclaim my personal power and health.

My body had given out and my mind had strayed into a negative and toxic place.  It was time to get back on track, find my alignment and heal, mentally, physically and emotionally. I picked my self up, and – like any other skill I had ever wanted to develop – I dove into restoring my physical, mental and emotional health and recommitted to my drive to build a life dedicated to service, purpose and impact.  Through my healing journey IN-Power Performance Coaching was born. Having utilized the integration of a variety of mind and body techniques, including strength and goals coaching, meditation, yoga, integrative nutrition and other mind body modalities to find and maintain my optimal state of well being and happiness, I enjoy the opportunity to share my favorite tools for harnessing the power of the mind and body to achieve optimal performance and thrive.

The development of IN-Power Performance Coaching is rooted in extensive formal training and education and professional and personal experience. While completing my research and graduate work at the University of  Pennsylvania, I spent several years integrating evidenced based techniques with dynamic community engagement,  work and volunteer experiences, building a comprehensive toolbox that enables IN-Power Performance Coaching to uniquely impact and IN-Power others seeking to make the necessary changes to harness their inner narrator and become the impact player they strive to be, to start living a better, more fulfilling life.

From a calm and centered place, unwavering strength, resilience, creativity and ability are found. In stillness and rest, each individual is able to reconnect, integrate and tap into an infinite source of power within.
